The annual MOAA Dover Chapter celebrates the holidays!

The MOAA Dover Chapter held their monthly meeting at Roma's Restaurant on 17 November. In honor of Veterans Day, the chapter conducted a POW/MIA Remembrance Ceremony and collected food to Feed the Hungry. The two guest speakers are involved with the Dignified Transfers that are conducted at Dover AFB.
Mrs. Karen House, President, Friends of the Fallen, a volunteer organization that provides service and assistance to families who come to Dover.

The Dover DE Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) recently awarded $8,500 in college scholarship money to five graduating Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Cadets in Kent County Delaware who also successfully completed their school's JROTC Program. Award criteria was based on academic performance, JROTC accomplishments, community service and financial need. Chapter President Col (Ret) Ron Sarg would also like to thank all of our corporate and individual donors whose outstanding generosity made these scholarships possible.
